Lupus Erythematosus is not infectious, rare or cancerous. Current data shows that 1.5 to 2 million people have been diagnosed with this disease. Of those, 80% of them are women, and over 100,000 are children. As a matter of fact, lupus is more prevalent than sickle cell anemia, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis and cystic fibrosis combined!
